After learning English, he returned to Mexico to study at the Institution Culinario De Mexico in Monterrey Nuevo León, México for two years. He went on to cook at his family’s restaurant and spent time with a catering company before opening his own restaurant/bar “El Tropezon”  in  2011 with the help of his family and wife, Valeria Romo.
